The Ghost King periodically targets a player and starts to chase them Dark And Darker Gold, and this is the Soul Eating attack. You can spot this attack by the blue shield that appears on the Ghost King. The targeted player should focus on kiting the boss, while the rest of the party deals damage. If the Ghost King catches the targeted player, it roots them in place and drains their health, usually leading to death. Therefore, it is crucial not to underestimate this attack and prioritize kiting the boss.

Earthquake

As soon as the Ghost King teleports to the center of the room, it is a sign that an Earthquake is coming. This mechanic can cause a party wipeout if not prepared, so be ready. The Ghost King rises high up into the air for a few seconds and then smashes down onto the ground, dealing a significant amount of damage. Players must time their jump with the smash down to prevent damage from being dealt. Watch out for blue sparks appearing on the Ghost King's head to know when the attack is coming. After the attack, three Death Skulls spawn, and the Cleric in your party can clear them with Holy Purification.

Loot

Congratulations on defeating the Ghost King! The spoils of the dungeon are now yours to claim. The Ghost King drops three items from the standard drop table and one item from the miscellaneous table buy Darker Gold. However, the quality of loot will improve in the Higher Roller version of the fight. Additionally, there are chests scattered throughout the room, but the most important loot is the Treasure Hoard, which spawns after the boss fight. The Treasure Hoard is an infinite loot spot, so long as your inventory can hold it all!
