A test ladder is also being implemented to ensure seasonal play is working properly.There isn't a set date for the start of the real (non-PTR) ladder.

Diablo 2 Resurrected's ladder hasn't been given the exact date of its release however, we're definitely getting closer, as the second version that's PTR Patch 2.4 is scheduled to be released on March 2. This will be a follow-up to the initial PTR Patch 2.4 testing period that ran from January 25 through February 9, and during which numerous changes were implemented.

The developers had promised that Patch 2.4 would return to the PTR after some behind-the scene work which was completed, and, on March 2, the PTR will be operational again. Changes introduced in the first patch 2.4 are still in use and new ones are being added on.Notably that this new PTR session is a test of ladder-based functionality.

A ladder season has been imitated to its fullest, with ladder chat commands along with a leaderboard, as well as a separate stash being implemented. It's also noted that at the completion of a time-based ladder, gamers will have until the beginning of the season following to transfer their ladder items to a non-ladder stash.Another major change is Uber Diablo.
