The World of Warcraft development team has issued a statement that addresses the issues raised by the discrimination lawsuit filed by California in the case of Activision Blizzard. The message was published on the MMO's official Twitter account and on the official website of the game and was signed by "The World of Warcraft team."
The message acknowledges the pain of the women who were reported to be harassed and discriminated against , and states that the studio will invest time and take action to allow World of Warcraft to get to a better state. The message states that "we must also initiate immediate action in Azeroth to get rid of buy WOW WoTLK Classic Gold references that are not appropriate to our time."
