As one of the first African American R&B soulful artist ever to land a Nationwide video on BET from Chattanooga, Tennessee, Jimmy Allgood was destined for greatness. With Jimmy's passion, motivation and talents, he landed an album deal with a major independent record label - Ray's Records by the age of 18. In 1993 his album "Touch It" was released in a regional area. Jimmy then came out with the remake of "Sara Smile" originally?sung by pop duo Daryl Hall and John Oats. Allgood had the chance to work with amazing artist such as Celo, Lo-Key?, and Xscape. He opened for Usher in Chattanooga, Ginuwine, Howard Hewett and Keith Washington in Atlanta. Jimmy also opened for Lenny William's MC Lightfoot the comedian. Jimmy Allgood performed at events like "The Teachers Awards" a red-carpet event in Atlanta Georgia, Sherry Gordy's "Motown Takes The Stage" and "Riverbend" in his hometown. Jimmy was recognized by the city of Chattanooga and mayor Andy Berke for putting in hard work with his craft and being a positive influence and representing his city.
