After the Warriors' 107-97 victory over the Celtics on Friday night, Golden State star Stephen Curry was told Houston Texans Jackets that Klay Thompson had referred to Game 4 as the No. 1 NBA Finals performance of his career. Curry didn't put too much thought into his teammate's declaration, saying that he doesn't rate his performances because he is solely focused on winning.Don't worry, Steph. We know you're busy with that whole trying to win a championship thing, so we can take care of the rankings.Let's run down Curry's five greatest Finals performances, starting with the one that is extremely fresh in the minds of Warriors fans.MORE: The Warriors knew their season was on the line. Curry called it a "must-win" game. The stakes couldn't have been higher, and the environment couldn't have been more intense. So, what did Curry do? He delivered a masterpiece, scoring an efficient 43 points against the NBA's toughest defense. He drilled deep 3-pointers. He hit midrange jumpers. He finished at the rim. And he somehow did all of his work within the flow of the offense. It may feel like recency bias, but given the enormity of the moment, this performance deserves the No. 1 spot on the list. If you've ever gone down a Basketball Reference rabbit hole, you may have stumbled upon Game Score, a statistic that is used to roughly measure a player's productivity for a single game. Game 3 is Curry's most productive Finals outing based Jalen Camp Jersey on Game Score (37.2), and when you look at the numbers, it's easy to see why that is the case. But Curry's performance against a deep, talented Raptors team is even more impre sive when you consider the circumstances surrounding him.Kevin Durant and Klay Thompson weren't available. The Warriors' other four starters were Shaun Livingston, Andre Iguodala, Draymond Green and DeMarcus Cousins. Andrew Bogut, Quinn Cook and Alfonzo McKinnie played big minutes off the bench.Toronto won Game 3 (and the series), but it was incredible to watch what Curry could do when he was given the ultimate green light. Iguodala may have won the 2015 Finals MVP award, but there is certainly an argument to be made that Curry should have received the trophy. One key piece of that argument: His terrific effort in Game 5.With the series tied at two games apiece and the Warriors holding a narrow six-point lead through three quarters, Curry took over in Grayland Arnold Jersey the final frame. He scored 17 of his 37 points in the fourth quarter, including 12 of Golden State's final 13 points. The Warriors then captured their first championship since 1975 with a win in Game 6, launching one of the most impre sive dynasties in recent sports history. While there was never any doubt that the Warriors were the more talented team in this series, the Cavaliers refused to go away quietly in Game 5. Curry and Durant carried Golden State to the finish line, combining for 73 of the team's 129 points in the closeout win. That performance capped off a ridiculous NBA Playoff run for Curry. The Warriors went 16-1 on their way to the title, and Curry averaged 28.1 points, 6.7 a sists, 6.2 rebounds and 2.0 steals with .484/.419/.904 shooting splits (field goals/3-pointers/free throws). Yes, we know. The Warriors went 73-9 with the unanimous MVP, and they blew a 3-1 lead in the 2016 NBA Finals. We've heard a few jokes about what happened. But Curry's Game 4 shouldn't be erased from his Finals resume. He scored 24 of his 38 points in the second half, including 11 of Golden State's final 15 points.Unfortunately for Curry and the Warriors, they couldn't shut the door on the Cavaliers. They lost Jaelen Strong Jersey the final three games of Ka'imi Fairbairn Jersey the series, and Curry had one of his worst Finals outings in Game 7, scoring just 17 points on 6-of-19 shooting. It feels odd to put a record-breaking performance outside of the top five, but this was a blowout as part of an NBA Finals sweep. The Warriors didn't nece sarily need Curry's fastball against a Cavaliers team that relied on LeBron James to do everything.Still, it's worth noting that Curry set a new record for most 3-pointers in a Finals game, hitting nine triples in a 122-103 win."It means a lot," Curry told ESPN's Doris Burke after Game 2. "As I've gone through my career and been ble sed to play, Reggie Miller and Ray Allen are two names that always pop up at the top of that list, all the 3-point shooting lists."So, anytime you're mentioned with those types of names, it's pretty special."
