The 2021 NFL Draft produced some incredibly impre sive receiving talent. Ja'Marr Chase, Jaylen Waddle, DeVonta Smith, and Elijah Moore were all part of this cla s. But one draftee, No. 20 overall pick Kadarius Toney, seemed destined to be a bust.Toney was drafted by the Giants, and he never seemed to get wheels up in his rookie year. Toward the beginning of training camp in 2021 he was placed on the team's COVID list, and through the first three weeks he played just 34 percent of the team's offensive snaps.In 2022, Toney started slow again before being traded to the Chiefs on Oct. 27 for a third-rounder and a sixth-rounder in the 2023 draft.Toney has enjoyed a few solid performances with Patrick Mahomes, and the Chiefs' lack of a No. 1 receiver Montrezl Harrell Jersey seems to have benefitted him in that way. Because of the rotational nature of how Mahomes disperses the ball, Toney has already hauled in a pair of touchdowns after not catching any in New York. But all it takes is one solid game from Toney is what's left of the postseason to make this deal a steal for the Chiefs.
