Is it a spell memory? The wizards as well as Clerics also require spell memory to access the slots in which you can save spells. In the back in the group are the Barbarians that might be a surprise to some people. Barbarians are by far the most powerful melee characters however it comes at an expensive price. Barbarians are slow at almost everything they do including swinging their weapons to running to applying bandages.

This is why every Barbarian with no helpful Haste-Wizard is typically out-sped and out-manipulated by any other class. Fortunately that as Barbarian players advance and gain access to the doors to more Perk Slots, many of their weaknesses diminish to a certain extent. If they do happen to get even close to their adversaries and they do, there's nothing more frightening than the Barbarian.

Next are Rogues, another choice that could upset the feathers of the players who play in this group. Yes, Rogues are able to win if played correctly. Also, smacking an opponent who doesn't know the Rogue is in the room five times before they react is a lot of enjoyable.

However, Rogues are extremely soft, and their style of play that, at least when it comes to PvP, requires nearly perfect gameplay. If you are a Rogue is fighting against a Barbarian and they must avoid each hit, or die before they even take a swing, because if just any of these swings comes into contact with the Rogue player, they'll lose 50% of their health all at once.

Apart from that Rogues are also excellent at looting and snooping around, making them extremely skilled in two distinct areas. In contrast, the classes within the upper Tiers are spread more evenly in their expertise across different classes.

As fighters, Clerics are awful in Dark and Darker. They're not the best fighters in the world by default (not not even the 'drunken fistfighter build available to Cleric) However, they're well generally.
