Players will be able to collaborate with this group, and once you have collected ears from your dead enemies they can be turned into enhancements for your character.

Sanctuary is made up of five different regions: Fractured Peaks (snowy mountain ranges), Dry Steppes (desert), Hawezar (swamps), Scosglen (coastal forests), and Kehjistan (ruins of a previous civilization). We've seen them in both game and art and all of them represent distinct biomes. You'll experience them all in Diablo 4's campaign.Lilith has been summoned from the realm of mortals and it's most likely to be detrimental to the people of Sanctuary.

Diablo 4 is set up as a shared open-world online game that features multiple dungeons as well as regions that players can choose to explore. In contrast to previous Diablo games, which followed the story in a linear fashion using Acts, Diablo 4 is stated to provide more freedom with regards to where you'd like explore and what you would like to explore, even with the ongoing narrative.

During BlizzConline during BlizzConline, we learned that players can freely roam the map by destroying enemy strongholds and taking them to themselves, and even spotting corrupted areas that are known as the Fields Hatred. In our chat with Art Director John Muller during BlizzConline, Muller said that players will get more appreciation for the universe with the new layout.

"We're creating this world within Sanctuary for the first time, where it's a unified space. You'll be able to board your mount and go from the harsh , horrid coastlines up to the deserts and then travel through various areas on your way," The man explained.

"Everything can be found in this world, so the history, the lore, everything you've learned about Diablo now isn't simply a representation in 2D that you click and go to Buy Diablo 2 Resurrected Items maps. You're on your horse and it's quite a different experience. I think for the genre as well as for Diablo players, I'm sure the game is something people are likely to appreciate.
