The eligibility criteria for K-SET Physical Science also ensure that the candidates should have academic qualifications to pursue the career of teaching and research. The applicant must hold a master's degree or an equivalent qualification in Physical Science or any other related field from a recognized university. The General and Unreserved category aspirants require at least 55% aggregate marks. The candidates from SC, ST, OBC, and PwD categories require at least 50% marks. Even final-year postgraduate students are eligible to apply if they complete their graduation in time. There is no age bar for the candidates, which allows many aspirants to take up the test.
