Limited time only offers do not belong with OSRS IMO

Additionally, certain aspects aren't liked in RS3 but are perfectly acceptable in OSRS If done the right way. Check out GWD, Shooting Stars, Priff, and Nex. A majority of these are direct copies from RS3 (like GWD) and other games are slightly different.

I believe that EoC was the most important reason. It made OSRS gold rather than RuneScape for me (in regards to combat-related stuff; PvM, PvP, miniature games, Slayer, etc). But MTX and Loyalty types of rewards that offered players rewards by spending money or because you've been a player for longer than a certain amount of time isn't exactly what I like. I'd like to see everyone playing on the same playing field. Also as u said regarding loyalty program cosmetics I dislike the idea of them going away forever. This is similar to Leagues rewards being a once-in-a-lifetime item. However, in OSRS Jagex are fair enough to claim "We are aware that you missed out on league 1 and can purchase those rewards using points from leagues 2 or 3". Limited time only offers do not belong with OSRS IMO (even when it comes to holiday items). Each year, you can unlock previous rewards and this is the most effective way).

It's not a fire, but it's an enormous amount of work put in a piece that's not going to affect anyone's opinions since our views on what's good or bad were formed about 10 years ago. I enjoy the game in the way it is and could happily enjoy it with no updates for the remainder of my life (would prefer that thralls were eliminated) but some people need updates to stay on top of their game and to keep their minds going to get mixed.

Sure, there are people who don't change their mind on certain things but the goal of my post was to emphasize that the opinion of an individual isn't always the same as that of everyone else.

Additionally, certain aspects aren't liked in RS3 but are perfectly acceptable in OSRS If done the right way. Check out GWD, Shooting Stars, Priff, and Nex. A majority of these are direct copies from RS3 (like GWD) and other games are slightly different (shooting stars and XP rates Priff is not Priff being the "hub" to the community of high-tier players, and Nex is only dropping torva, and it being nerfed in order to meet OSRS BIS stats, and not be overpowering).

I believe Summoning, Dungeoneering, and a myriad of other things in RS3 could be okay in cheap OSRS gold just like those listed above, provided that they are modified to fit into our game. And some things NEVER need to be included... There are so many different ideas that aren't part of RS3 that we could come up with also. I'm happy for anything as you think it through thoroughly, debated in depth and is voted on by the majority of players; this assures that it's safe for the game.
