Evolution in the Pokémon franchise has always been one of the most important parts of the game. Most Pokémon will evolve by becoming stronger or trading between players, among many other methods. However, not every Pokémon will evolve right away in the same generation of games it launched.
Quite often, Game Freak developers add new evolutions or early baby forms for Pokémon from earlier games into new entries. Amid all of this cross-generational evolution, however, there are two specific Pokémon that lack a fairly obvious evolutionary link: Tauros and Miltank. The upcoming Pokémon Scarlet and Violet can solve this problem.
Tauros was first introduced in the original Pokémon Red and Blue game as a famous inhabitant of the very dangerous Safari Zone. It's one of several Pokémon in the original game that had no other stages of evolution. However, over the years, the vast majority of these single-stage Pokémon have ended up getting the next stage or baby evolution, or even a temporary super evolution, regional variant, or even a Gigantamax form.
After all these additions over the years, only two original single-stage Pokémon, excluding Mythic Pokémon Meow, never got a different form: Ditto and Taurus. It also makes sense for Ditto, who has carved out a perfect niche for making Pokémon breeding and shiny hunting easier, and there's no reason to change that. However, Tauros not evolving at this point seems like a pretty missed opportunity, especially when Game Freak often tries to bond with another one-stage Pokémon from Gen 2, Miltank and Whitney's infamous partner Pokémon.

First, Tauros is a bull-like Pokémon that can only be male, while Miltank is a bull-like Pokémon that can only be female, and both share the same base Stat Total 490. Also, in Pokémon Sun and Moon, despite not sharing evolution, the two share a Pokédex page, further hinting at their connection. Furthermore, the two are almost inseparable in the game, as they either share at least one route, or they don't appear at all. This is most evident in Pokémon X and Y, because whenever there is a large herd of Taurus on Route 12, there is always a Miltank among them. PKMBuy has Pokemon BDSP For Sale.
Game Freak should finally act on this connection they made between Tauros and Miltank, introducing a baby Pokémon that can evolve into either species. There was already precedent for this in the Pokémon game, like in the first generation, the Pokémon Hitmonlee and Hitmonchan were another pair of unofficially linked single-stage Pokémon until the second generation introduced a baby Pokémon called Tyrogue Baby, it can evolve into either, because as well as a third option called Hitmontop. There are Legends: Arceus Pokemon for sale.
It seems odd that the evolution of Tauros or the baby Pokémon that ties it to Miltank, if they intend to, isn't done yet. However, the timing has never been more perfect.
The new unnamed region appearing in the upcoming Pokémon Scarlet and Violet appears to be based on Spain, which has a famous connection to bulls in the real world, especially the annual bull run. The connection is well known around the world, and for a Pokémon region based in Spain it wouldn't make sense to not include a bull-like Pokémon somewhere, and Taurus is the perfect place to start.
A new leak suggests that Pokémon Scarlet and Violet may include around 72 new entries added to the Pokémon universe. Since only a few of them have been discovered so far, including the wildly popular Lechonk, there's still plenty of room for the cute little bull to connect Tauros and Miltank, or at least a new regional variant to finally give Tauros some much-needed love.
