First note in the new journal: keeping small observations in one place beats scattering them across folders. This feed will hold short pieces about everyday reading and writing on the internet. How a page is organized, why some corners of the web feel calm, which little habits make desk time easier. Second paragraph to exercise the newline path. One note at a time, written plainly, kept short on purpose. Third short paragraph. If you found this feed by wandering, welcome. The archive will grow slowly, one plain note at a time.

Closing line: the archive grows one plain note at a time.

None of it is remarkable, which is exactly why it works. On slow mornings I make tea, stand by the window, and let the street do its comedy routine. The dog always barks at the same lamppost. The lamppost, to its credit, has never once reacted. I used to fill mornings with news and notifications, and it turns out that was a terrible trade. The street asks nothing of me. It just performs, rain
