Tenure marketed is an initial tenure just. It may be extended based on the job extension, funds availability and based upon the acceptable efficiency.


How To Apply:


Eligible prospects should email the scanned copies of the following documents to hrdg@nio.org before the last date. Applications got after the last date and without the below compulsory files will be turned down.


All the files consisting of application to be made SINGLE PDF File in the following order and to be sent to the mentioned email address. The total fille should be conserved with the prospect name and to be sent. Individual PDF files will not be thought about.


( I) Scanned copy of the duly filled-in application, given at the end of this ad. Followed by,


( II) Scanned copies of


1. CV/Bio Data with current color picture
2. Educational Qualification Certificate as mentioned in the advertisement essential certification/ Semester Mark sheet or Final Mark sheet is obligatory. In addition to this, Degree Award Certificate or Provisional Award Certificate. Percentage or CGPA need to plainly displayed on any one of the certificate. If certificate does not have proper portion/ CGPA/ Grade then the application may not be considered. The prospect needs to guarantee to supply proper certificates to guarantee their eligibility for the said positions.
3. Date of Birth Proof (Any valid certificate having DoB such as SSLC, HSC, DoB Certificate, etc).
4. Category certificate (in case of SC/ST/OBC/ PWD candidates). (If relevant).
5. NET/GATE/SET/ Any other Equivalent test credentials certificate (IF applicable).
6. Experience certificate (Mandatory for the posts where experience is necessary credentials) and Other certificates, if any.


Mode of Selection:


If number of applications are more, then choice committee will repair a criteria to shortlist the candidates. Only shortlisted prospects will be required the interview. Selection will be done on the basis of online interview through either Skype/Google Meet/Zoom or any other appropriate software, as chosen by the proficient authority.


Applications got after the due date will be turned down. The short-listed candidates will be informed through e-mail/website.


The interview date will be communicated to the shortlisted candidates through e-mail.


Terms:


The engagement will be on purely short-term and contractual basis for the period pointed out in the ad. It is solely for the above discussed research work and the tenure will be co-terminus with the task duration or till the conclusion of period whichever is earlier. The engagement under this job does not confer any right/claim whatsoever either explicitly or implicitly on the appointee for regular consultations in CSIR-NIO/CSIR, against any post or otherwise under any legal conditions precedent. It would therefore, not provide any right/claim, implicit or explicit, on the part of the prospects for regularization/absorption against any post in CSIR/NIO or under any other plan of CSIR.


HRA will be paid as per the rules.


Incase of candidates certified with NET/GATE certification, they may be thought about for higher emoluments based on the DST policies of job staffs, subject to the approval of task funds and approval of proficient authority.


Performance of the job staff would be examined occasionally so that any one not found up to the mark, could be terminated with one month's notification or one month's stipend in lieu thereof.


The date for determining the upper age limit, credentials and/or experience will be the closing date prescribed for submission of applications.


The duration of experience in a discipline/area of work, anywhere recommended, need to be in appropriate location of work/field suggested versus such position which will be counted after the date of getting the minimum essential educational certifications prescribed for that position.


The trainees in the last semester and results waited for prospects are not eligible to use and their applications will not be thought about.


Stipend may be revised depending on the funding agency standards provided time to time.


Candidates need to note that non-fulfillment of the eligibility criterion will result in cancellation of candidature at any stage.


Incomplete applications without appropriate format and without eligibility supporting files will not be considered.


Number of positions promoted may be tentative and it can be increased or decreased by the competent authority at any phase during the recruitment process.
