The Chiefs were faced with a challenging decision at halftime Saturday against the Jaguars: send an injured Patrick Mahomes back onto the field or turn to the .Andy Reid decided to send Mahomes back onto the field to start the second half after he mi sed the final Chiefs drive before halftime. "He wanted to fight and so we got him out, went to the X-ray, got it X-rayed, looked at it, taped. He said Reid made him go back to the locker room in order to have any shot at returning."He said, 'We're not putting you back in, so you might as well go get the X-ray and if it's negative or whatever, I'll put you back in,'" Mahomes recounted. And he's very, I tell you, he's competitive.
