On the most recent episode on Hot Ones, Post Malone was interviewed about his love for video games specifically with regard to music. In answer, Malone asked host Sean Evans whether he'd been performing Elden Ring for himself.

Evans claimed that he had not, which led to Malone suggesting the game. But, despite this suggestion, Post Malone explained that they have to shut the music off while playing Elden Ring because it stresses him out .

"I turn the music to the point of being completely silent (in Elden Ring] because it is absurd. It's like a choir, not of angels, [but of demons. And they're like, 'We're going to f**your *** up.' It's impossible to live," Post Malone said of the game's soundtrack. "After the fight I'm like shaking, so I'm forced to go outside and smoke , and I'm thinking"I need to get my head back in order.'"
