The number of squares in the game's interface corresponds to the number of letters in the word you must decipher. Unique to this game is the ability to attempt an unlimited number of incorrect words and correct them until the correct word is discovered. The correct letter and location will be displayed in blue if your estimate is correct. The correct letter will appear in yellow if it is in the incorrect location and in gray if your estimate is completely incorrect.

Unusually, the colors you inaccurately estimate will always appear on the screen of the keys in Word Hurdle. After guessing all of the columns, you've colored all of your keyboards.
