Kyrie Irving isn't having the most traditional 2021-22 season. Given that his Brooklyn Nets are currently eighth in the East, he could be heading into the offseason earlier than in previous years. However, regardless of what happened on the court, the 29-year-old continued to tease his Nike Kyrie Infinity with new colorways. Often referred to as the "Kyrie 8," the latest model in Irving's signature sneaker line doesn't stray too far from past offerings. A mix of mesh and leather runs through most of the upper, allowing the defender and his Swoosh partner to take on a handful of new color combinations. The inspiration for this latest shoe — blue and rich gold tones — hasn’t been revealed, but there’s a special logo on the tongue on the left foot that gives an idea of how the Kyrie Infinity’s upcoming colorway is coming. One embroidery thread can embroider two opposite arrows, this style is called "future and past". The rest of the shoe no longer echoes the time, although the lining and sole further indulge in vibrant hues that enliven the upper.
