Sauce" Gardner rising to"Sauce" Gardner to. second overall during the Madden 23 coins Draft, while Derek Stingley falls
Ahmad "Sauce" Gardner has mostly settled to be the No. #1 cornerback at the time of the draft due to his athletic and physical attributes. This being said, Kiper is the first person to put him No. 2 overall for the Lions.
This would make Gardner the most highly-selected cornerback of all time. Although this is an important position and Detroit could be quite a threat with Gardner And Jeff Odukah (if they can be healthy), I'm really finding it difficult to imagine investing such a high pick on a cornerback.
The flip side is that Kiper has Derek Stingley Jr. falling all the way to No. 12 in the Vikings. This is a guy who was expected to be as a Top 5. I know fans in Minnesota are giddy about this, but I'd be stunned if either Sauce go this high, or Stingley Jr. go this low.
If this happens, it'll definitely alter this year's Top 10. and it'll be something to keep an eye on for sure.
Bet on the 2022 Madden NFL 23 Draft at DraftKings Sportsbook The pass rush is a feature in the Top 10
There's a lot of talent at pass rusher in the draft however Kiper is the first to go so full-on about how much teams are drawn to these players. Four edge rushers have been picked as Top 10. with Jermaine Johnson from Florida State as the player that no one else has thought of until now.
This is at the expense of offensive tackles which are less than what people have projected. There is a chance of this happening, but the idea of having the third or fourth-best pass rusher instead of the likes of Evan Neal or Charles Cross isn't one that I like not well.
There's only one player that is running away in my thoughts worth of a top first round selection, and I believe this is a fantastic player. Kiper has the Iowa State's Breece Hall dropping to the number. 38 with the Jets and I'm shocked.
Hall is an ideal mix of speed and power with unique traits. I'm not sure how the Buffalo Bills passing on him at the age of. 26. considering a do-everything back is really the only thing that offense is missing. In fact, I'm not convinced that the Texans would pass on him neither.
I'm sure that people will to be stunned by how high Hall can go. I could imagine him reaching the teens If a team is convinced.
I'm not objecting to the idea of Cincinnati trading out of the first round for future assets, it's more that Kiper has The Jets FLEECING the Bengals in a trade. In the No. 31 he proposes the Jets upgrade their draft position to Iowa centre Tyler Linderbaum, who is sliding due to God knows the reason.
In exchange, he has New York giving Cincinnati the No. 35 pick and day 3 pick. Day 3 selection. This is ridiculous. There is no way to imagine the Bengals shifting between Day 1 and 2. when they can become a target in trade discussions happening overnight, and all they get is a mid-late round pick who is probably not going to be on the squad.
This also means that the Bengals being left without madden 23 coins cheap OG Kenyon Green because of this trade. He'd be an ideal addition to their offensive line, which has a fresh look.
